Firewall Purification Protection

Scientifically proven to be 99.9999% effective in eliminating viruses and bacteria.

Firewall patented and certified UV technology thoroughly purifies water all the way through to the dispensing nozzle, preventing viruses, including COVID-19, and bacteria getting into the system.

Why is purification so important?

Purification is essential to maintaining healthy drinking water. Without it, your dispensing area can be a breeding ground for bacteria, mold, and viruses.

Without the right purification process, you risk exposure to poor water quality and cross-contamination.  According to the CDC, waterborne germs can cause serious health risks:

Sometimes waterborne germs live together in a group, known as a biofilm. A biofilm is a group of microorganisms—often a mix of bacteria, fungi, and amebas—that live together and release a slimy, glue-like substance, which allows them to stick to surfaces.

  • Nontuberculous mycobacteria (lung, blood, or skin infection)
  • Legionella spp. (lung infection)
  • Pseudomonas aeruginosa (blood, lung, or skin infection)
  • Naegleria fowleri (brain infection)
  • Acanthamoeba spp. (brain and eye infection)

The Firewall difference

Most cross-contamination occurs at the dispensing nozzle.

Traditional dispensers provide limited or no purification, making the dispensing nozzle the most unsanitary part of the machine. Firewall purifies the water all the way through the dispensing nozzle and into your cup, reducing the chance of cross-contamination.

How Firewall Works

Unprotected pipes expose water to the risk of being infected by viruses and bacteria from the outside

Firewall disinfects the water from the building supply by exposing it to a high dose of UVC radiation as it flows down and then up through the unique double-helix spiral. Any pathogen present in the water is then deactivated and becomes harmless.

Firewall’s intense UVC light also acts as a powerful barrier, stopping viruses and bacteria from entering the system, and sanitizing the nozzle to prevent cross-contamination between users.

Firewall was rigorously tested against the human form of COVID-19 by a team of microbiologists from the University of Arizona led by Dr. Gerba, internationally known for his methodologies for pathogen detection in water and food.
